Tasting Notes

A perfect blend of Baco Noir and Cabernet Franc with small amounts of Syrah and Merlot for added complexity. Our Clubhouse Red is a fruit-driven wine that is lively and fresh. This wine showcases intense nuances of raspberry and spice with a hint of cocoa. A medium bodied red with a smooth and luscious mouthfeel. Versatility and balance are its hallmarks. Whether you are on the 19th hole or the backyard deck, Clubhouse Red is the perfect match for good friends and family.

Winemaking Notes

This wine is a blend of Baco Noir (54%), Cabernet Franc (33%), Syrah (8%) and Merlot (5%). Each variety was picked and kept separate until blending. The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed and put into stainless steel tanks for cold soaking and fermentation. It was pumped-over twice daily for 19 days. After fermentation was completed for each batch, it was then pressed off into tanks. Following Malo Lactic fermentation, the wines were blended to harmonize before being filtered and bottled.
