Tasting Notes:
This Riesling has a slight green hue to it. It is showing aromas of white peach, zingy green apple and wet rocks. On the palate, it is very fresh and zippy. It has just a touch of balancing sweetness but I wouldn't call this a sweet wine by any stretch. It has a long limy finish.
Winemaking Notes:
This wine is made mostly of grapes grown on our Estate vineyard. It was pressed and moved into a stainless steel tank to ferment. It was fermented at a relatively cool temperature and stopped when the wine was tasting balanced.
Food Pairing:
This would pair wonderfully with a richer pork dish like roasted pork tenderloin in a mushroom cream sauce.
