Overview

"2017 was a great vintage for Pinot Noir. It was warm at the start and stayed that way into the fall. Warm days and cool nights led to beautifully balanced Pinot” Ben Minaker– Winemaker

Tasting Notes

This Pinot Noir shows elegant notes of cherry, wildflower, and fresh till earth. A soft mouthfeel with polished, soft tannins and quiet acidity that greets the palate with warmth. (Tasted August 2022).

Wine Making Notes

The grapes for this wine were delicately hand picked. They were then fermented in small batches and punched down twice daily. This has lead to a smooth and elegant wine. It was aged in oak barrels for 19 months to round and soften.

Food Pairing

This Pinot would be a great match for roasted chicken with a mushroom cream sauce, or duck confit.
